I get that Harris isn't everyone's cup of tea, but Trump is a literal convicted felon, rapist, and said he would be a dictator "on day one". His followers violently stormed the capitol building. People might feel that government is big and moves too slowly, but JFC, why let the house you're living in burn to the ground just to watch your neighbors houses burn as well?

Large parts of this county are not very well educated and are easy pickings for a charismatic demagogue. Most Trump supporters don't understand or care to understand policy. They chose a team and they are ride or die regardless of any damage done because their guy will blame everyone else and they will eat it up.
