I mean the other Looney Toons movie, The Day The Earth Blew Up, was apparently really good and they practically shelved it giving it a token one week theatrical run. Now I think that a better take is that it probably wouldn't be profitable hence shelving it but it stands a chance to be good.

Fair, I hadn't heard that they were close to shelving The Day The Earth Blew up. I think it's the same company that published that movie that acquired Coyote vs Acme. I'll give them this, I'm now thinking about going to see The Day The Earth Blew up tonight since there isn't much else in theaters right now, and it seems relevant.

Studio ghibli? Pixar? Just because something can be made to speak to people of all ages doesn't make it bad. I'm not saying it's high art but like, everything can't be that.
