Honestly, this is like 90% of my existence. I envy people who live in the country and don't see others unless it's on their terms. I almost have enough money saved and invested to make this a reality for myself.

You sound like a kindred spirit. It's nice to hear from someone else who feels the same way. I find so much of ‘society life' to be completely draining and contrary to our human nature for peace and quiet. And also very superficial. Whereas personally I am much more inclined towards reflection and thinking and a calm, peaceful, quiet environment. My wife and I live in the country, a desire for peace and quiet being the main reason.

I'm pretty sure this isn't an unpopular opinion.

Sometimes I just wonder if people around me feel the same level of not wanting to see other people, especially seeing as lots of people go out and about amongst other people to do things that they don't actually have to do, such as sports, markets, etc.

For me, I was bullied and/ignored a lot, as a mentally ill kid. I get that half of it was my fault but I still have bitterness over it. 😂😂😂😂😂 Good luck. Dreams do come true.

I think you are kidding yourself. You want to see what people type. You want to relate. You are happy to find a kindred spirit. If you were seeking isolation I would not have seen this.

I'm happy being at home and having an online conversation, like I am at the moment. But I always get completely drained when I have to go out and about amongst other people.
