Well yeh, any food is gross if you don't know how to properly make it.

Had some in Italy a few times, NJ, NY. I don't like it no matter how good of quality it is.

If you are feeling terrible after eating 2-3 slices, the pieces are either huge, way too greasy than what its supposed to be, or you have a sensitivity to dairy like being lactose intolerant. Visiting the Papa Johns in Italy doesn't make it authentic.

Likely a cheese thing for me I guess. Just hate eating greasy foods as it drowns out all the other flavors imo. I wish I could blame it on bad pizza chains.

Always feel terrible after eating 2-3 slices So let me get this straight. You continuously eat something you describe as terrible?
by Anonymous6 days ago
That's a pretty broad condemnation. There are so many types and styles of pizza, and some of it is quite light and "healthy" without sacrificing flavor. Also, how do you know what ass tastes like?
by Anonymous6 days ago
They're wrong because I've tasted ass before, and it didn't really have a flavor.
by Anonymous6 days ago
Some people prefer it to pizza, evidently.

Sushi
by Anonymous6 days ago
Hasn't happened to me yet, but I always have that in the back of my mind. I try to stick with higher quality sushi restaurants to mitigate the risk.
by Anonymous6 days ago
Yeah, avoid the gas station sushi!

Sounds like you've only ever eaten bad pizza, good pizza should not taste like what you've just described. Try authentic Neopolitan-style pizza, it's way nicer than the greasy, over-cooked pizza you get from takeouts and chain places like Domino's and is healthier too.
by Anonymous6 days ago
I've had pretty much every type of pizza under the sun since my wife loves it. I just don't like it no matter where we go.
by Anonymous6 days ago
Have you tried pizza without cheese? Some places will do that for you. My girlfriend doesn't like pizza either because she doesn't like things with tomato sauce. I made her a pizza without tomato sauce with chicken, peppers and cheese on it, and she didn't mind it.
by Anonymous6 days ago
I'm seriously considering if it's a cheese thing for me. Cheese is inherently greasy when cooked, and I'm just not a fan of unhealthy foods.
by Anonymous6 days ago
Look up sfincione. If you're in the US, try tomato pie. There may be cheese but hard cheeses in less quantities, not mozzarella
by Anonymous6 days ago
Mozzarella isn't particularly greasy when cooked, authentic Italian pizza uses just that and no other cheese. Seriously, try thin-crust pizza from an Italian pizzeria instead of an American chain and it's way less greasy and doesn't fill you up anywhere near as fast.
by Anonymous6 days ago
I do agree on that. Thin crust is a lot more tolerable, or if I make homemade flatbread for my wife. Less surface area for it to sponge up all the grease, too.
by Anonymous6 days ago
A pizza is essentially a flatbread with tomato sauce and cheese. If you make it yourself, you can tailor it to your taste.

so.... you got bad pizza.

I know it's a cliché, but it sounds like you're eating crap pizza, so of course it will taste like crap. It doesn't have to be particularly greasy or fatty.

If eating 2-3slices make you sick maybe stick to one slice😭

Or zero

I actually semi-agree. I dab a lot of the grease off when I'm eating pizza now, and when I was a teenager and it was the 'go to' for every event, so I was sick of it. Now I will say, there is a difference between Pizza Pizza and an actual Italian Pizzeria bc those pizzas are built different

Any dishbis gonna taste bad if its cooked bad. Pizza needs fresh ingredients and should not include lots of oil (none at all for my taste but tastes differ). You can make fresh dough yourself and buy all fresh and good quality ingredients and put it in the oven and have a nice ungreasy and healthy pizza
