THIS is an unpopular opinion. That said, I like it too, although not exactly looking forward to it.

I kind of agree. I also like the adrenaline rush of, "could this be it?"
by Aggressive_Bell2 days ago
Oh yeah, that too!

Are you guys doing alright

And it is also the ultimate "there's nothing anyone can do", just totally riding fate

Real, it is like being rocked to sleep

I know what you mean. I purposefully hit some intense bumps in my car for that roller coaster feeling but on a plane it can be a bit scary. I only find it scary when its violent. Not fun then

I love turbulence too, it's so much fun lol

I feel honored

You should really take some flying lessons. Get bumped around in a small aircraft with your hands on the controls. You learn how to steady the plane without overcorrecting. It's a totally different experience, and you'd like it even more I bet.

Freaks me out.

I love looking at the wings of a 787 in turbulence and wondering "are those going to snap off?"
by Interesting-Dog-40192 days ago
They're actually designed to be super flexible afaik, so extremely unlikely!
by No-Satisfaction-29682 days ago
That's why they're so much fun to watch!

I don't mind normal turbulence… but once experienced actually violent, scary turbulence, and that was an absolutely gut wrenching feeling.

Whilst I don't really agree with you, my dad is a retired commercial airline pilot and he always had a passion for flying small single engine aircraft in his spare time and so I spent a lot of time up in little planes. If you like turbulence, you'll like the little single engine planes - and yeah I kinda get that it makes you feel like you're properly flying.

I also like it, but it is also kinda an j easy feeling at the same time. But ultimately knowing the plane crash rate, I'm down with turbulence!
by Anonymous2 days ago
Yes, nothing quite like worry that than the plane is going to crash into the ground and that I'm not going to reach my destination (yes, I'm fully aware of the slim odds of a plane going down due to turbulence).
by Anonymous2 days ago
Depends on the turbulence. It can go pretty extreme.
by Anonymous2 days ago
Everybody strap your seatbelts, because there's about to be some turbulence
by Anonymous2 days ago
Light turbulence can be kind of fun! Except for the not being able to get up from your seat part. It gets less fun and more alarming for me as it gets more extreme
