All my life, I've noticed my mind kind of wanders off somewhere else while action scenes are happening. I'm with you, I'm interested in plot, character, dialogue, and design, but when it comes to explosions, I'm just bored silly. I know the action parts are a necessary part of the story; they're just my least favorite part.

Lol that was a wild ride. My advice, relax and try to enjoy things for what they are. And if you can't do that just accept it's not for you and move on to something else.
