If someone gets me where I'm trying to go and I don't die that's a perfect trip

In a normal world that would be great, but with the way drivers are treated, anything short of 5 stars is going to hurt their ability to make money.

I agree- I have given 5 star rating to everyone, but only some drivers go above and beyond, like offering water, radio choice, etc.

I would agree if you said 4 stars, but saying 3 sounds a bit entitled to be honest. If you are expecting a chauffer, Uber isnt the way to go. You are paying for a lift. A guy (or gal) in a car to drive you around, not for luxury holiday treatment. 4 is a ride that was on time, pretty basic, maybe a nice chat. 5 is for anything above that that actually goes beyond just sharing a car with someone. A great personality that makes you smile or like you said, helping with bags or having free water.

The platform (nearly any platform) punishes anything less than a 5. Like if an uber driver averages 3 stars they will not be allowed to drive for the company anymore. More of an issue with how businesses run in general

These opinions are always so dumb "It's an average game so a reviewer should give it a 5!" okay but that would skew the rating because no one else is prescribing to your "I'm a special snowflake and want things my way" rating system. Ultimately just being a contrarian and making people pissed at you
