Would be better to do an actual lottery system and keep prices low. Anyone who wants one registers in a certain window, then people are selected from that pool randomly. Asking to pay more money is kinda wild.

I'd rather it be first come first serve or a lottery than pay wall our national parks. They are for everyone.

Dude you can't expect people to pay hundreds of dollars to stay at a state park. It's an awesome stay. We went to blue springs in Florida and stayed at the cabins for 90 a day and it was awesome. Yes it was a 6 month out reservation but keeping it cheep also keeps it quaint. Quaint is a word that I've really been wanting to hear more recently

Well certainly an unpopular opinion. Seems like there would be a lot of less privileged people who would no longer be able to visit these campgrounds due to this approach which is maintained mostly by the taxes paid by those same people who could no longer afford to go.
