+45 Spaghetti is disgusting, amirite?

by Anonymous 1 day ago

Whole lotta words to type out, just to admit that you don't know how to make spaghetti.

by Anonymous 1 day ago

Lol

by Anonymous 1 day ago

Bruh. He sefinitely can't cook.

by Anonymous 1 day ago

Never done, just over done or under done.

by Tasty_Preparation512 1 day ago

it's rigidity means that half of it doesn't even get boiled properly because half of it is out of the pot. This is like one of those old TV infomercials, "there has to be a better way!" as someone does something nonsensical.

by Abject_Breadfruit975 1 day ago

You also need to literally throw your hands up in disgust.

by West_Technician 1 day ago

In black and white for some reason

by IndependentLadder 1 day ago

And try to snap the pasta in half only to have it fly all over the kitchen instead

by Anonymous 1 day ago

You know you can spice the sauce any way you'd like, add any meats or veggies you like? you know spaghetti is just a shape right?

by Different-Kitchen605 1 day ago

You... push the spaghetti into the pot as it softens up and cooks? And then it's all cooked? Wtf?

by Anonymous 1 day ago

Ah, that explains it. I never push it in, so I always get half limp and half cracker.

by Anonymous 1 day ago

I break mine, idgaf

by IndependentLadder 1 day ago

🤣

by Agitated-Tax3489 1 day ago

Or just use a bigger pot.

by Anonymous 1 day ago

Haven't had spaghetti in a while think I'll make some tomorrow

by Anonymous 1 day ago

That's what I was thinking too

by abdieldickinson 1 day ago

Do you not push the spaghetti down as it cooks? Do you just leave it hanging out the pot like some crunchy monstrosity, assuming you're using dried pasta And if it's limp and mushy, you over cooked it. Well, except the part you left out of the pot… How do you feel about bucatini? Similar shape to spaghetti but thicker (and it has the hole through the center). Bucatini can hold a thicker sauce

by Over-Narwhal9998 1 day ago

Username checks out. By nature, spaghetti has a much higher surface area for flavor absorption. OP is clearly the worst cook in the universe.

by robellonie 1 day ago

Spaghetti is literally just another form of bread. Saying Spaghetti is flavorless is like saying bread is flavorless. If you cant taste the pasta. Its because you didn't add salt to the water

by Anonymous 1 day ago

Salting the water is half the battle. You are right on that. But finishing the spaghetti the correct way (before it's done cooking, in the sauce, and properly seasoning the sauce knowing it will be diluted from the blandness of the pasta naturally) is the other half of the battle. This is why properly make spaghetti is king because how much more pasta can absorb flavors.

by robellonie 1 day ago

I think you just haven't had any GOOD spaghetti lol

by Anonymous 1 day ago

I don't really care about pasta, I'm just curious what makes you say it's pretentious? I feel like it's pretty basic.

by Anonymous 1 day ago

It insits upon itself

by MeanZookeepergame395 1 day ago

This is less an opinion and more a skill issue lol

by Golden24 1 day ago

OP doesn't pasta correctly

by Cleochamplin 1 day ago

You're not prepping or eating spaghetti correctly

by Neither_Ability_1075 1 day ago

So…. You're incompetent and can't cook spaghetti. Got it.

by Much_Chemistry 1 day ago

I also don't care for spaghetti but wouldn't say I feel as strongly as you about it, but everyone I know says I'm weird for not liking spaghetti. Maybe I eat too many spices but I have to agree to me it's bland af too.

by Anonymous 1 day ago

It's still spaghetti though, what I'm saying is the things used to "spice" up spaghetti are bland and vanilla to me. I'd rather eat a different pasta at that rate.

by Anonymous 1 day ago

Spaghetti is great, this opinion is not.

by Anonymous 1 day ago

Pretentious ass spaghetti.

by Anonymous 1 day ago

Dash of olive oil = mushy. I love pasta.

by Majestic_Possible481 1 day ago

Have you had chicken spaghetti? 🤭

by Anonymous 1 day ago

Lmao

by Anonymous 1 day ago

I used to agree. Pasta noodles are often very bland and just seem like vehicles to deliver sauce. Then I had good pasta. Easily one of my all time favorite dishes. The pasta was better than the sauce. Now I understand.

by meghan00 1 day ago

I don't think you know what half the words mean that you used.

by Existing_Writing_857 1 day ago

And the worst part about spaghetti is how quickly it gets cold. I'll have piping hot spaghetti turn to room temperature in 2 minutes.

by Anonymous 1 day ago

Eat good pasta. You'll change your mind.

by Taylor48 1 day ago

You should try it with sauce. And maybe YouTube on how to cook it. You're doing it wrong.

by Suspicious-Annual924 1 day ago

Vanilla spaghetti sounds gross. You're not making it right.

by Anonymous 1 day ago

This is truly an unpopular opinion, especially because as others have mentioned you clearly don't know how to make good pasta.

by Dizzy_Comfort1529 1 day ago

Bro doesn't know how to make spaghetti

by Anonymous 1 day ago

Just learn how to cook man. It's not that hard

by Anonymous 1 day ago

You don't know how to cook spaghetti lol

by Anonymous 1 day ago

Spaghetti paste? Do you mean spaghetti/tomato sauce or do you mean tomato paste? What is Spaghetti paste?

by Boring_Action_6135 1 day ago

Tell me you've never had fresh spaghetti without telling me you've never had fresh spaghetti.

by Anonymous 1 day ago

Totally agree, out of all the pastas, the delicious sauce holding cheese holding amazing pastas, spaghetti is the absolute worse.

by OkWallaby 1 day ago

You know different shaped noodles have different uses depending on the type of sauce? Sounds like you don't. Look it up (seriously)

by Much_Chemistry 1 day ago

Obviously I don't, I just eat and cook that stuff

by OkWallaby 1 day ago

Spaghetti is definitely the lowest of the Italian pastas, but we can't forget that Italian pasta is mid when Asian pasta exists.
