+62 Brides who say "it's MY day" are actually just entitled, and they make everyone around them miserable. amirite?

I will argue with women that it's not JUST their day because it's not! It's a day to be shared and celebrated WITH the bride, groom, and their friends and/or families.

Someone getting married and being focused solely on herself is crazy. Does she even care about her future husband?

Everyone I know has at least one bridezilla story

Agree also this extends past weddings to all celebrations, like yes you do get a little wiggle room on events around you, but your wedding/birthday/bar mitzvah/funeral is not an excuse to be an asshole. The only reason anyone comes to celebrate you is because they like you. Do your best to be worthy of their respect and love. :)

Completely agree. This is why a lot of friendships and relationships with family members end when weddings start to happen.

This is NOT an unpopular opinion

Wedding planning sounds like the most miserable thing in the world to do. I won't blame all women for acting out-of-bounds during the process when it usually falls to them to control (hence bridezilla and never any groomzillas). I understand that there's millions of truly crazy people expecting crazy things. I think a lot of people too never really have complete control over something on a grand scale like that in their lives before so it can get to their heads (not all ceremonies have to be big obvs but any event can be stressful). Maybe it's just my life but I don't know anyone who would care so deeply about Insta photos like that to claim half of all brides are just like that. Sounds boomer-y to complain about.
