+22 Large logos or brand names on clothing looks trashy, amirite?

If I wanted your logo anywhere on me, I'd be asking for a paycheck with it.

This. I pretty much only buy band shirts for this reason. If I'm going to be a walking promotion I'd rather it go to things I support! You want me to wear your Hilfiger shirt? That'll be $30 an hour as my advertising fee.

Same!

This isn't unpopular. That's why it all ends up at Ross.

For me it just feels like people are being turned into walking adverts and its a shame. Everywhere you go logos everywhere

You said adverts so I assume you are British. Remember the line from The Thick of It? The real people

Not a fan as it never made any sense to me. Why would I want to wear a companies brand name on my shirt? And pay to do it.

Probably because you like it. Thats my guess

Agreed, l saw some t-shirts with unique patterns but unfortunalely also a large logo on it. If that logo wasn't there I would have likely purchased the cloth

Man, you are REALLY gonna hate professional sports....

That's you can tell who's really got money. Poor trash wear the big logos. Rich, old money wear the same labels but understated

So its funny, I never ran into this until high school. I'd never honestly seen brand names in big, and I mean BIG letters across or up and down on people's clothes as a stylistic element. I'm talking like 6-8" letters sometimes or if not the name the full logo. It was really weird, but it turns out its sort of a fashion/culture collision of lower middle class people trying really hard to look like they've got money. I don't know any people with actual money who dress like that.

It's kind of true. I have to pay more for less logo.

by Chasity11 35 minutes ago

You don't have to. That's just the brand you're buying.
