You're not wrong, but I rather enjoy his wavy/funky side he gives to songs so I can deal with it. I just see him as a really good remixer, not necessarily an artist

That's kind of his whole thing though. if you watch interviews of him, you'll see that he's really just gaming the system and he knows how to make hits so he's not necessarily trying to go out and make the world‘s greatest song. He's just trying to make something that he know will go viral And that's what he's best at. (Speech to text)

What are you talking about? He has almost 13 million monthly listeners and songs with literally 100's of millions of plays on JUST Spotify. Like him or not…the songs are definitely popular.

He's definitely got a formula and he's just been churning out the same thing, totally agree with you there. Wish he did more in the vein of Can't Help Myself and little less of pandering to an algorithm.
