okay fair but unless you're shooting fireworks at your neighbor you arent doing the same kind of damage a sugar heavy diet can do maybe they breathe something not good in but thats going to take a lot of exposure and time to manifest any real harm you'd sooner kill your neighbor by buying them a lifetime supply of pepsi than you would shooting fireworks off into the sky every day

This either forms of entertainment don't typically result in the release of toxic fumes and have a high potential of causing fires, hearing damage, and triggering PTSD. Fireworks are a really dangerous and damaging form of entertainment.

Refugees and veterans aren't struggling with PTSD from an ice cream cone, migratory birds aren't abandoning nests because of a lawn gnome, uncle Rick isn't blowing his right pinky off lighting a birthday candle.

I mean, eating an expensive dinner doesn't keep my baby up and scared all night every night for the past 2 weeks (and I'm guessing the next several weeks as well). Inconsiderate assholes who can't limit themselves to an hour or so on the 4th make them obnoxious.

You nailed what I dislike about fireworks. I don't mind people lighting them on the night on the 4th and never again until the next year, but when the fireworks start around the 3rd week of June and go until around the 7th of July, enough is enough
