tapioca pearls that are really chewy aren't cooked properly. so many places i've been and they're still undercooked cuz they don't know how to cook them and i just don't get boba tea anymore.

The quality of pearls varies dramatically from place to place. Some places serve them kinda tough and flavourless, other places do them with a nice chew and brown sugar taste. Fair enough if you've tried a few places and never liked them.

Whenever I go to get Boba with me and my girlfriend, we typically like to get popping bubbles because the tapioca is a horrible texture. I don't know how anybody in general likes drinking Boba with tapioca. I'll even go as far as to say I don't get the hype for boba, especially because a lot of the time it's too weird of a texture going on. You could be drinking the nicest most creamiest liquid and then the minute you get a bubble in your mouth it ruins it for me.
