Yeah I haven't ever fallen for a scam like this because I'm a mentally competent man and because I don't currently have a TBI. no one I've known has either for the same reasons I listed. I actually do research on things before dropping my life savings into them, and I don't just inherently trust celebrities who happen to be shady/ACTUAL criminals with these things. I just cannot feel bad for these people when they had every opportunity to save themselves, they brought it on themselves. If my 80 year old technologically illiterate grandmother can sus out these things being a scam they could've too. Their own negligence and ignorance led them to this situation. And I do feel bad for people scammed under different circumstances, but I just can't bring myself to feel anything regarding these people specifically. That's because you're a sociopath. Did these people make a mistake, sure. But clearly, for them, it wasn't "an obvious scam". That can be for any number of reasons, it's hardly just about IQ. The fact that you can watch a video of someone who lost a fortune because of a mistake they made, and may well have ruined their life for the foreseeable future (not to mention potentially those of their family, etc.), and just burst out laughing, show that you just don't have much capacity for empathy in general. Ironically, not unlike the very low IQ people you feel so clearly superior to, your brain just doesn't work properly.

Pretty much Everytime I've brought it up in person/online I get called "cold" or "kind of an asshole" I've been told that it doesn't matter and you should still be sad for them/not think it's funny"

Err...what? I'm not gonna be feeling sad for anyone, anywhere who's fvcked themselves. Should i feel bad for interpretive dance people who can't find jobs? Should i feel bad for people who bough lottery tickets and cheap booze instead of food? I could go on for some time like this. People who screw themselves, against all reason and better judgement, get no sympathy from me.

I do feel very bad for the people with learning disabilities or elders that aren't fully competent anymore, theres should be special accounts that protect the people..... but the everyday people man its wild, a dude I went to school with spend 50k on girl that they never met lol, Im positive it was a man
