+63 I think American fanta tastes way better then European fanta, amirite?

by Anonymous 1 week ago

European Fanta is far superior to American Fanta because it has real juice, but if I'm being honest, Orangina beats it and is my go to.

Usually one likes what one is used to

I was literally having this discussion with American friends yesterday, the difference is crazy

Health facts don't change the fact that OP prefers the flavor of the American version

Fanta uses Germans and Americans in their flavor profiles? What a world. Fanta in the US originally was the same as the international stuff. Like everyone else in the US however, they saw corn syrup and artificial flavors and bailed out on quality.

Typical american then

God's piss, like it's supposed to.

American fanta includes coloring, sugars, etc.

by Any-Somewhere-9178 1 week ago

sugars If by sugar you mean corn syrup, yes. The European variety has actual cane sugar.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Sorry, yeah. My food arrived and cut my explaination short.

by Any-Somewhere-9178 1 week ago

Beet sugar not cane sugar

by Valuable_Guidance187 1 week ago

Depends where you are in Europe, but it's often a combination of the two. Cane sugar is definitely still used in fanta here in Europe, just often in combination with beet sugar.

Better than corn syrup.

American everything tastes better than European anything. We pay the price for it in health

by LongjumpingSafe 1 week ago

Ofc it does...it has no sugar reglementation, or barely.

by Popular_Sir_850 1 week ago

That's because it's less unhealthy than American Fanta. But each to their own! We often like what we're used to.

by bergebroderick 1 week ago

Nah Italian Fanta is amazing.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

I don't know what that is

by Champlinnigel 1 week ago

American Fanta tastes like liquid candy. I rarely drink soda, but when I do, its as a sugar boost after outside work, so I'd rather go for the artificial stuff too!

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Not surprised. look up Fanta's sugar levels/countries. Fanta in Portugal is refrehing and cool wihle a fanta in Italy is gonna kick you into diabetes.

by Short_Reindeer_4296 1 week ago

Because it's regulated to not be full of cancer.
