Summer is honestly the absolute WORST season! amirite?

Was just talking with my cousin the other day and she was going on a whole tangent on how much she loved summer especially when it gets super hot and I just couldn't understand how

Extra daylight helps many people. Even when it's nasty and hot, leaving for work in the morning with it bright out, and coming home with hours of sunlight left puts me in a great mood. In the winter sometimes I literally have zero free time with daylight. I leave for work in the dark and come home in the dark. Also many of us live where the heat is not oppressive

It's funny, the older i get, the more i like it when it gets dark earlier. I would love to get rid of daylight savings and go to standard time year round. I use to be the complete opposite.

I'm a homebody who prefers cold weather to hot. I also kind of prefer when it's dark outside, so winter is my absolute favorite season.

Fully agree. There's plenty of daylight time in these northern latitudes well into the evening, there's no need to exaggerate how late into the evening it stays light out.

I'm the opposite. Going to bed with the sun out, and having to wake up with it still out just makes getting to sleep even harder than it already is.

There's a psychological component though. I can't sleep when it's light out. I get this strange FOMO.

It surprises me how many people do not understand Seasonal Affective Depression and how awful it is to get through the winter months.

Im the same! Love the summer, love the warm weather. Especially a really warm summer evening… hard to beat

It's fun feeling your body starting to shut down. Less fun being so cold your hands don't work

Those people are absolutely insane summer is the worst! It's been so hot and humid here I feel like I'm suffocating or drowning

I'd rather not have SAD hijack my life to the point where suicide ideation is as normal as breathing is. Summer > Autumn >>>> Spring (tho late spring is nice) >>>>>>>> Winter The Easter Bunny, the Headless Horseman and the Sun should make it a point to break Jack Frost's and Santa Claus's kneecaps every time winter comes around.

Depends on where you live. If you are in Texas or Arizona or the U.S. south, definitely. Other places like the Midwest, winter is months of gray depression.
