Really don't have time to get side-tracked into a deep investigation on the agricultural revolution, but that does sound correct. Nomadic groups practice herding, but farming requires staying in one place for extended periods of time.

Doesn't farming also include farming animals? So they didn't evolve to veganism because it was safer. They evolved to safer means of getting vegetables and meat.
