purity culture is lame, amirite?

2 things can be true 1) sex can be natural and not a cause for shame 2) some things are best kept private and I think some common decency is lacking in our society

I think purity culture is lame but I don't think it's right to judge individuals for "being grossed out by sex" sex is an incredibly personal thing and means something different to everybody, as long as they aren't forcing their opinions on others or judging them feeling opposed to sex is fine and can be healthy (shoutout asexual people) but purity CULTURE to me is the organized shaming of sex and people that have it and that's not chill.

Are you young? This was a thing when I was in grade school but I haven't encountered many people in my adult life who care about that (with the exception of extremely religious people but they're easy to avoid if you don't go to their places of warship). It gets better as people around you mature
