Experiencing nature in some way (the beautiful, white sand beaches with crystal blue ocean is a an amazing form of natural world) is a 100% valid thing to want to travel for. Culture isn't the end-all of experiences. I'd rather experience any form of the natural world than human environments. Besides, many places like Cancun with their world famous beaches, arent safe for tourists to explore "true culture" on their own. They can either stay on the resort or get curated tourism experiences.

I mean saying it's rude seems a bit dramatic imo, people are doing what they like and it's not hurting anyone. I do think it's kinda weird tho, seems like a waste of money to a certain point.

Also these types of people: "you're participating in my culture in the WRONG WAY! TOURISTS DONT BELONG HERE!!!!"

There's a difference between lining up to get into "tourist traps" or crowd them out of things they'd want to do and participating in local life with locals.

Right? I literally could not care any less if someone visits another country and decides to go to the beach, lol. There are actual problems in the world.

Sooooo you want people to travel the way YOU travel, got it.

I say this as someone who used to be this person, travel snobs are the worst. If you want to spend your holiday making friends with locals and hunting for "authentic" restaurants where you're the only tourist, that's fantastic! Have the time of your life. But if you want to sit by the beach all day while reading a book and drinking pina coladas, that's super valid too.

Why do people think I'm trying to somehow control people? I'm saying don't be ignorant.

Saying not to do something is the same as telling them to do something else. Why does what other people do with their vacation or spare time concern you so much?

you actually said "don't be rude", which is entirely different.
