I think this is a popular opinion. It's become a popular corporate/group outing in part because it's easy for almost anyone to pick up and at enjoy on their first time. It takes like 1 minute to explain the rules. It's probably the only sport where I see every generation playing it and a wide range of noobs to ultra competitive dudes in the same place.

Pickleball is tennis for morons.. of course it is simple and easy.. it takes like 2 rounds to figure things out.
