Most people have probably never ridden in the back seats of their own car. amirite?

A couple years ago I did. It felt incredibly weird lol I kept trying to look in my side mirrors... My dog was thrilled though!

I actually remember when I was 15 (when you get your learners permit in the US, so you can drive as long as there's a licensed driver over 21 in the passenger seat), my dad, stepmom and I went somewhere just up the road and my dad let me drive so he sat in the back seat. When we starting moving he said "Woah, I don't think I've ever been in my back seat before."

I used to carpool with a guy who never had a drivers license and didn't know how to drive (we lived in a time and place where this was highly unusual for an adult) and he received his ex-wife's car in the divorce. We'd take his car 150 miles round trip each day. He'd usually sleep in the back while I drove. The other guy up front paid for gas. Good arrangement.
