Not bad as many think. But the part with Venom is definitely a last minute makeshift and disservice to its fans like how Deadpool was in X-Men Origins.

Yeah that's a hard agree, seeing Peter in the black suit was really the only satisfaction I got from that storyline. X-men origins Deadpool still gives me nightmares to this day. So bad.

No, you're absolutely right. I don't know what exactly is wrong with it but it's indeed not as bad as we are made to believe. The acting, the special effects, the plotline. You are 100% and absolutely right that it isn't as bad as they make us believe. It's worse.

I enjoyed it when I went to the midnight showing when it originally came out. It is the worst one of the three, but also has nothing in it that wasn't apart of the first two. It's clear venom was just a bit too much in it.

It's not really bad, it's just the first two movies were so great that they are still considered the best superhero movies. Especially Spider-Man 2. Spider-Man 3 is just average.

I haven't heard of Andrew Garfield, but I think the lack of comic book accuracy is why I enjoyed it. Have you seen Darkman? It's my favorite comic book movie (also Sam Raimi), and isn't even based on a comic book.
