lion king 2 is so much better than the first one, amirite?

I wouldn't say it's better than the first but it's a solid movie that's better than pretty much all Disney Animated sequel movies Although The Lion King 2 has my favourite The Lion King song - He Lives In You

it was good maybe even underrated and the songs are on par with lion king expect for the one about love or something (i think rafiki sung it) I didn't really like that one

1 1/2 is the best lion king. This is simply a basic fact of the universe. "Dig a tunnel, dig dig a tunnel..."

I had an unhealthy obsession with lion king as a child, watched all of them countless times. Story line wise it's just Shakespeare Hamlet vs Romeo and Juliet- neither is really original. But I did always enjoy the characters and songs/music more from Lion King 2, so agree with your opinion :)

I disagree now but as a little kid I liked the Lion King 2 better, mostly because I identified with the protagonist more. Now I see the first part has more depth, a better story and definitely better animation. I still like the songs from part 2 more though. Oh and I hated that 1 1/2 movie even as kid, it felt like an insult to Lion King.
