+34 People who drive inefficient vehicles should waive their right to complain about gas prices, amirite?

I'd probably go a bit further than you and mandate that vehicles meet certain aerodynamic standards. The fact SUVs exist through a regulatory loophole speaks volumes and the fact no one seems interested in closing it up says a lot as well. Even if people were driving around in Chevy Impala style land yachts, at least I could see around their cars. It's not like a giant, rear windshield tint SUV that can barely fit on the road.

Probably not unpopular opinion. I always chuckle when somebody has to get a second compact vehicle for commuting because their truck is too expensive on gas.

That's me. I also own a farm and use my truck for truck things so I'm a bit of an outlier. My commuter is 35 mpg sedan

Define good, my car is rated for 50 combined

My truck gets 30, and it's nice and comfortable, and I like trucks

I couldn't fit it down my street

You probably shouldn't get a truck then.
