I get this—when you're in a nursing home, can't really walk, and then you start to get dementia what's the point?

Personally this feels more like a religious outcry than an unpopular opinion. If you're struggling with a faith of any kind, reach out to your specific group of belief, I am more than confident that they'll have resources to help you find reason and purpose in the strife your feeling. Everyone, Muslim, Christian, atheist, etc, have moments of disparity of purpose and reason for existence, life is a game of obstacles and hurdles, and I hope you find your way.
