+43 If the "worries" go away when you're drunk then they're not real, they're all just in your head, amirite?

Everythings in your head. Counterpoint - getting drunk enough will make you neglect things you shouldn't neglect (relationships, work, family) so probably not a good idea that you use "if being drunk makes you not worry about it" as your scale of whether something is a real worry or not.

They will manifest as a messy or emotional drunk, perhaps even aggressive. The worries are still there even if you're not feeling them.

Ah, the statement that everyone who doesn't know what they're talking about uses: "It's all just in your head"
