Billions was actually very good in its earlier seasons. The later ones are just a horrible mess. I cannot recomend the show to anyone because of them. I get your point and agree with it, it's nice (although very unreallistic) that they never went for those kind of insults. I just wouldn't call it "enlightening".

You're telling me a person's level of intelligence isn't dictated by the ability to throw in pop culture references in every sentence? The earlier seasons were decent in explaining finance. The later seasons became "Hollywood" finance as how farcical they were.
