Big Dogs are better than cats, amirite?

This is a very lazy unpopular opinion. You might have well said you like pineapple and ham on pizza more than a sausage and mushrooms. I prefer big dogs in not an unpopular opinion

Yeah, I don't get why people compare them all the time and have this dog vs cat attitude… They are completely different animals that offer completely different experiences. Not fair to compare them.

i know that you're trying not to generalize by saying some cats can be a great example of love and loyalty, but it's not as rare as you think. i have 3 cats of varying ages and they're all overflowing with love and affection. often times it's a "you get what you give" situation. they know i love them and they give it right back

Dogs as defense is dumb. My good buddy got hooked on the fent and became quite the burglar lol. He got busted and when he got clean and stuff I asked him about dogs and he just laughed and said man animals love me he said he would have the biggest meanest dogs following him around wagging there tail as he stole their owners stuff 😂

Fair point, i feel the same. Would never get a pet i could easily beat if i had to fight it, you never know what can happen. Even the best behaved and trained dog is still an animal and i would never 100% trust it.

Small dogs can do obedience just fine. Small dog syndrome is a man-made problem. Basically people don't train small dogs and so people think they're jerks. My childhood best friend is a dog trainer, and it was pretty cool seeing a Chihuahua follow all of the same commands as her big dogs.

raise your cat like a dog and spoil them with treats and youll have a dog that can poop and pee in the house. the thing about cats however imo is they arent as likely to be like this if you have other cats or they arent the dominant cat. whereas dogs will all be vying to be your best friend, cats only give what you give. which imo is more meaningful.
