"Cringe" is a useful word. "Lame", however, is ableist and offensive and should be retired. I agree about pot leaves as symbols, but it doesn't rise to cringe. Just kinda pathetic. It's a drug, not your identity. It made more sense 20 years ago when weed was illegal.
