Most people just don't open jars correctly. Don't use your dominant hand on the lid you squeeze it tighter and just make it harder to open, hold the lid in your non dominant hand and twist the jar with your dominant hand. All jar are suddenly easy open.

You have the time to inquire about the jar-opening habits with most people you know? You must be have the perfect way to transition into that discussion down to a science. What's your go-to jar-opening ice breaker?

Just wait until you find out when women have hands, muscles and jar opening aids. The same things men use to open jars sometimes.

Wait until they find out that I, a biological female, has opened pickle jars for men before. Shocking!

When I was young, I was taught to tap the sides a couple times with a butter knife. Same idea, I guess.
