I mean depending on how crispy, you are factually correct on this one. Many people eat crispy bacon that is 100% burnt. There's a spectrum to bacon. And I prefer mine on the crispy but not black side of things

Beef carpaccio is raw and delicious. Sashimi is great too.

Yeah most meat are much better raw than cook (Unless some cut that is need to slow cook) If it is safe to consume that I would be eating raw everything. Steak, pork, chicken, fish, etc.

I agree, Sashimi is amazing. I can't eat cooked tuna now, only raw, but I was never a big fan of cooked tuna before trying it raw. However I couldn't eat raw chicken if it was safe lol

Thankful I live in Australia where crispy bacon is a rarity - it just crunchy salt, and so lacking in any enjoyment compared to normally cooked bacon. I do get it's probably a texture thing, but damn does it ruin the flavour.

I understand texture, but at that point it's basically pork jerky but more sad

I like to be able to stick a fork in it without it shattering! Most bacon I come across in breakfast places or other people's houses is overcooked IMHO.
