Agreed. It's not as perfect as people seem to remember. But it's fun. I like the first version better, because I like OP Jedi (only if everyone is OP, not a fanfic character like Starkiller)

I really like physicality in jedi or sith fights, and Mace Windu Kung Fu fighting droids like a madman really scratches an itch.

It's one of those things where particular arcs are really good and then the rest is pointless filler. I'd recommend anyone actually going into it for the first time look up what they can skip. Not because it breaks worldbuilding of a trilogy that doesn't deserve any level of deference or anything, but just because some of the stories just aren't good.

Stuff like Grievous and Obi-Wan repeatedly facing off and having long battles that end in stalemates. Meanwhile in Revenge of the Sith, Obi-Wan just destroys Grievous. He's no match for him in the movies, but he is somehow in the Clone Wars. This is just one of many examples.
