+73 I agree with the flow of the song, but visually and mentally I cannot accept the letter Rs placement in the ABCs. amirite?

Example: When reading an alphabetized list, I don't have to sing the ABCs to find what I need. I go based off vibes. The letter placement flows. It makes sense. The only letter that throws a wrench into my minds capability of alphabetizing without having to sing the stupid song is R. Visually and mentally, I feel it should go after s and t. Yeah, it sounds right when you sing it. I don't agree with its placement. Just don't. Its not passing the vibes check.

See I think R matches very closely with S and T, those three pretty much HAVE to go together. And S & T are the heavy-hitters that hold up the back of the alphabet. I think I agree with you though that R doesn't belong with the most obscure letter, Q. I would actually prefer it after S and T, I think it can do a strong handover to U. But then that puts S with Q, and I don't like that either. Too many curlicues too close together, it's not trustworthy. I think T should go first. It's strong enough to take whatever curveball Q throws at it. Then S can sit between T and R, to soften them, then R is perfect to end the stanza and transition into U.

See I accept Qs placement as a punctuation after the beloved lmnop. I do agree though with your synopsis and ability to follow my logic.

Ohh I see, yeah I think of P as the punctuation to LMNO, then Q comes in way too hot to start off the next section. It's like, calm down, we all know you're compensating for not being able to function independently

I see, you view Q as a show off who has not come to terms with being an outsider…. Fair. I would remove e if f didnt follow. I feel like the space between g and f could be filled similarly with q and tolerated but not enjoyed.

Yes, exactly! Q does match well with G and F. It still feels too obscure to go that early, but its style matches those others so well. It feels more posh, less obnoxious. Like a treble clef. E is a weird one, it does visually match F in uppercase, but the vibe is off. E is so strong that if it's not gonna go at the beginning, which is A's rightful place, then maybe it should go at the end. "Z E" kinda sounds like "easy" and it's very chill, nice relaxing tone to end on.
