My dude, we in the West are not all good. Just look at Seaworld for example. There would be a lot of others that are evil/cruel.

I dont think people think "all" zoos are bad considering they do important conservation work and outreach… aholes in unregulated zoos with big cats in cages clearly are disgusting white trash and have it coming

This would get a better response on a vegan forum, I think most people know zoos can be incredibly beneficial for conservation and education.
