All fitting rooms should have a 'shoes off' rule, amirite?

I've been in fitting rooms where the stink of someone's fungus-riddled feet has made me gag. I'm happy for the shoes to stay on.

So, in the area where I grew up it was mostly farmland and the norm to walk around outside with no shoes on. People only really put on shoes if they were traveling somewhere. One of the activities we used to do as a kid was compare whose feet were the dirtiest and the winner got a treat. I remember the winner on my road most days being a kid whose feet often matched the color of the asphalt. And it wasn't just us kids, many adults worked outside barefoot in their gardens and took walks with no shoes. Again, shoes were pretty much for traveling. We didn't always wash our feet before we went to the store, just threw on shoes and went. And I still see a lot of people around her walking barefoot. Btw I live in Missouri. So OP, you're telling me, you want those nasty feet on the fitting room floor?

I'm not gonna remove my shoes to try on a shirt...
