Sure but can we pull up Toy Story 3 on how to complete a trilogy in the study

And then ruin it with a 4th. They should call it the 'Disney Effect'.

People use too extreme of language with Toy Story 4. Nothing was ruined. The movie was good

My boyfriend said it was a good movie, but a bad Toy Story movie.

It was meh.

I watched it with someone who hadn't watched the other Toy Story films, and they said it was the best movie they ever saw.

Back to the Future is a perfect trilogy.

toy story 2 is the perfect sequel. terminator 2 is the perfect sequel.

To be fair the next two are kinda bad so that kinda makes the good will fall about. I think the jump in quality improvement between puss in boots 1 and 2 is why more worth studying. Bad to mediocre film turning into actual good movies in the sequel is probably a much more relatable thing to film students since probably what their early career path will be.

Empire Strikes Back, Godfather II, The Dark Knight, Spiderman 2, Terminator 2, Paddington 2 and National Treasure 2 are all better sequels that are more worthy of study.

It's a great movie, but for perfect sequels, there's a few better options.

"Now"? Sequels have always been bad with little exception.

Or make a sequel so good people forget the original exsist. May I present Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgement Day as my case study?
