Are we talking full Nicholas Cage in 'Face Off' level surgery here, or just a boob job? Most people that have had major facial work done are easy to spot. It never looks good. Liposuction shouldn't be an issue because thats just medically assisted laziness.

I think we would be surprised at how many people have had cosmetic surgeries we just don't know about. For example, I just found out two people who I am casual friends with had jaw lifts (or w/e it's called), and you would never know.

I feel like you shouldn't really care if it's like a boob or butt job. Do you really care if your own daughter inherits that? There are certain cases where I would agree with this though.

So... Eugenics?

How do relationships work for you that you don't talk to people?

by Bauchgail 1 day ago

So I've had a few procedures done, and just as an FYI I think it's pretty hard to get to that stage of a relationship and it not come up in conversation that I've had surgery. That said I don't think it actually matters, and your reasoning is definitely an unpopular opinion. If a man doesn't want to be with me because our daughter might have slightly smaller boobs or our son might have a slightly bigger nose then I don't want to be in a relationship with him either. I would love my kids regardless of how they look like.

Hard disagree in the case of us trans people - we should not be obligated to do something that causes us dysphoria. I'm way way too masculine for facial feminization surgery so this is about other trans people.

Fair point. If you're a trans person I look at it completely differently.

I was born with a deformed ear. It's real easy to have that opinion when all your body parts work like they're supposed to

What's so wrong with it?
