+39 I don't care about optic Olympic Doping, amirite?

Should just create a separate olympics with doping allowed, would probably get rid of a lot of scandals, and honestly me thinks the doping one would get much more viewers.

There's some rich asshole in Vegas (of course) who is going to run something called The Enhanced Games, with that very premise.

Yeah but it's fun to watch. You see that picture of James Magnussen after he got all roided up? Absolute unit of a human now. It may not have much of a premise but I think it's a neat idea

At that point doping becomes mandatory then we have an even bigger drug problem where every athlete is juiced to the gills in order to stand a chance competitively. This would destroy countless lives

This!

That's the unfortunate truth.

Yeah in the current state of the Olympics it's just a test to see which countries can get away with cheating Usually ones with better resources/funding for it

You're not gonna believe this. You're in luck because they all already do.

Then it just becomes a sad contest of who can take the most life threatening doses of drugs and still live. Athletes shouldnt be disadvantaged for not wanting to put their health at risk

thats how i feel about doping in any sports. when i watch sports, i want to be entertained and if doping helps them train longer, recover from injury quicker, etc. i am all for it. most sports leagues/events are in it for money anyways so the accolades mean nothing.
