I don't understand people saying it's "eroding literacy" texts weren't especially well written before emojis and I think it's kinda a self report if you think a significant outlet for reading and writing is through text messages. I think it's cool how you can express relatively complex emotions with a single symbol. Like how do you express the (english) connotations that come with πor π without emojis.
