Maybe self-care for you is different than others? I know plenty people who enjoy a latte as a treat, or a spa day. Generalized and thinking what doesn't work for you is the same for others isn't the right way to go about it.

It's all relative. Self care is seemingly about trying to support overall health. A lot of things can be addressed for minimal cost, like hydration or lack of nutrients. Other things might just be a trap. Inflation will never go away, so everyone's behavior with regard to economics will depend on many factors like the information available to them and how they process it.

That's corporations weaponizing self care. Self care for me is cooking up a burrito bar plopping into my reading chair and reading a beloved book series while I eat burritos. None of it is costing more than I was going to spend anyway.
