A lot of hobbies can start out for cheap too. But dig deeper and it will get expensive fast. Like hiking, you start out with a pair of shoes and cheap clothes (optional). But move on to winter peak summits in different countries and all your finances are suddenly gone.

Late 20s, just 20, late 30s... I think you're just a broke kid cosplaying 'someone in their late 30s with some disposable income' because you don't sound like you know what that's actually like.

by AppointmentWhich 2 days ago

I'm not a car guy but a lot of people do take their cars to tracks to race them.

by Witty_Fix 2 days ago

wouldnt that make the hobby racing or some track kinda thing aka what they are doing with the car? not ‘expensive car' being the hobby.
