Yeah I prefer alcohol to cannabis. Like I will smoke every once in a rare while and enjoy it. But it makes me way too paranoid, and I'm definitely gonna have a bad time out in public Which is weird because other drugs tend to agree with me extremely well and don't trigger that at all

For me personally, in terms of being social and productive as well as floaty and light like a feather—I absolutely agree, as long as I don't cross the threshold and find the perfect buzz. I guess that's the drawback between the two. Alcohol of course being literal poison to anyone and everyone meanwhile weed being much less harmful generally speaking

Alcohol is worse for you but as someone with a ton of social anxiety, I agree. It used to make me much happier and would be a social lubricant making me pretty calm and pleasant to be around. I can't enjoy weed unless I'm already calm and even then it can give me major anxiety with a spiked heart rate where I see black and have to lie down. Not sure how unpopular this is. I think everyone is different regarding this. For me, alcohol is worse on my body but makes me feel better mentally (in the moment). While with weed, I don't have any kind of physical hangover, but it can cause some weird demons I didn't know existed to surface. I'm also a lot less social while high but more social while drunk. Even when I smoke with people I love, I just end up wanting to be alone and go to bed.

Depends on how much I drink. I get myself sick a lot when I drink, especially hard liquor. Weed I don't really get that, with one exception where I greened out and couldn't even stand properly.
