I think liking kpop as an adult is weird. The music is juvenile, the kids in those groups actual kids, apparently a lot of them minors. If you are an adult liking this genre to the point of obsession I just think there is something wrong with you Does this guy know there are some adults singing to? Overall why do you care? Good music is good music. Same reason people obsess over tv shows, movies and toys aimed at kids. To this day, I love Pokémon and enjoy collecting cards.

I have never consumed a single korean show or music- it's just not my thing, and I outgrew Harry Potter before I even turned 18. I still don't think I'm "better and so much more mature" than my friends who still do like it. I would argue projection and "I grew up and I'm so much better than you" type of thinking is the biggest sign of arrested development.
