Fantasy is not another word for nonsense, amirite?

I just think if you care that much about little things, you're gonna ruin loads of media for yourself because you'll only accept the exceptional stuff. This doesn't even just apply to fantasy. Look at the scene in one of the John wicks where they are shooting each other with silenced guns, doesn't make any sense but like, why care?

The example I used was a minor one, obviously it's an adaption, I'm not and wasent expecting the actor to go and lose weight progressively between shoots. When it comes to fantasy, especially high fantasy for me it's just different. Fantasy is about the little things, it's about the construction of an entirely different world and the little things are some of the best parts.

Is not about little things, but how about people think that everything is justified if is fantasy, no matter how it breakes the rules of its own world.

I agree with you, Im not and was never expecting the two actors to lose/gain weight progressively for the series and I think it's disrespectful and somewhat unrealistic when taking into account timelines and schedules. I'm more pissed about the "fantasy is whatever" mindset people have when met with legitimate criticisms about the world's logic. For example If dragons are nuclear weapons, then maybe they shouldn't be all cuddly like cats. The scenes in GOT where Danys dragons acted out, impulsively and dangerously, were amazing because they made sense.

Fair enough about the cat dragons. Though tbh, I always grasped her affection for the dragons as a result of a yearning for agency and source of power after not having that for her entire life, not in a way that invalidates her love for them ofc.

Though tbh, I always grasped her affection for the dragons as a result of a yearning for agency and source of power after not having that for her entire life, not in a way that invalidates her love for them ofc. And that is a totally valid take. I would also think that would factor into it and is a good overall motivator for her to keep them around. Also the fact that they are the only "family" she has left. It's a sense of identity and belonging for Dany. Atleast to me. But even though the dragons still need some endearing personality for it to be realistic and relatable. And using the temperament of cats as a shorthand works pretty well, to me.

Since the dawn of the internet, people on the internet have loved complaining about the things they love.

You should legally be required to take a course on the concept on credibility in fiction in order to consume a piece of media

What you are describing is good fantasy. Trust me, there are plenty of fantasy novels out there with no internal consistency or logic. But they still count as fantasy regardless.
