When I first tasted it decades and decades ago, as a young man I really had a complete aversion to it. I remember that first day and since then my taste have changed and II find it indispensable. I eat it with everything and just absolutely love it. Strange how that is

Without the gene, I'd say it's like salt. Some? Great. But I've been to plenty of restaurants were they just dump so much of it into their salsa that it tastes like soap. Absolutely not!
