Disney should remake the Star Wars movies starting with Episode 1, amirite?

Disney just made 3 soulless corporate continuation movies to the original 3? They have actively shown you they are incapable of creating good star wars movies.

I honestly don't think that they, or anyone would be able to pull off episodes 4-6. That's just pure 70's-80's magic and they're nostalgic to so many that watched them as kids. It would never work or be accepted

If they want to make something great all they have to do is source Karpyshyn's Bane trilogy. I don't think I ever loved a Bad Guy book as much as that trilogy. The movie writes itself. But I know they'll bone it somehow.

I'd like to see that, but unlike LOTR and Harry Potter, Star Wars isn't an adaption. The original films are the source material and people are gonna be super protective over it.

As a huge LOTR fan I'm fine with that. It being remade doesn't make the OG go away and gives us more media . I don't think it needs to be remade , but if we can have 50 marvel movies then why not a fandom that I enjoy

They may need to, and i'm here for it. Every possible way it can be done will at least be interesting to spectate. The first one especially looks really rough in some scenes, even at 1080p, let alone 4k. Even as a kid watching it on VHS, i was like "Why is Kenobi being so careful not to step on that painting?"
