It is not inconsiderate to loudly listen to music and call on loud-speaker in public. amirite?
by Patient_Anywhere2 days ago
So many words to just say you're a self centred POS
by Certain_Telephone6882 days ago
Nope. I am just unapologetic.

Low quality opinion.
by Patient_Anywhere2 days ago
Low quality Being a public nuisance is low quality. No one is demanding silence. Make your phone call, but blasting music on speaker is impolite (trashy actually) in a confined space like a bus, train, or indoor space.
by Anonymous2 days ago
"Everyone has to listen to my music whether they want to or not." No, they don't.
by Anonymous2 days ago
Ahh, "Everybody who doesn't like what I'm listening to on the train or bus must get off." Sure, right.
by Anonymous2 days ago
Nope, as I said before, I would not be forcing you! But If that works for you, go ahead!
by Patient_Anywhere2 days ago
Not forcing me. Forcing me to listen to your music, or leave my ride and from work? Riiiiight. Not inconsiderate at all? I think you do not know what that word means.
by Anonymous2 days ago
Dude if everyone can listen to music outloud, there isnt going to be much quiet places to move to
by Particular-Word1 day ago
Once again, it is not impolite. It is harmless and within my own rights! You are in PUBLIC! You aren't entitled to silence!
by Patient_Anywhere1 day ago
right just like how me and my ex deciding to sit at your table in a restaurant and immediately getting into an screaming match isn't impolite either

Sharon and Bobby have always been so damn toxic.

To be fair, OP could be a sociopath and simply not know any better.

"I f I want to loudly listen to music or call over loud speaker on a train, bus, reception lobby, I will do that proudly! It is not ill-mannered" Yeah, this is pretty ill-mannered. Zero consideration or respect for anyone else.
by Anonymous1 day ago
It is not. It is a public space not designated for silence!
by Patient_Anywhere1 day ago
I'm not going to continue to argue this cause you've somehow managed to justify it in your head and seem pretty firm on that, but everybody else around you doesn't like you. Everybody else not being loud and obnoxious is under the unspoken agreement that being loud and obnoxious in public is annoying.
by Anonymous1 day ago
Too many words to say you ill mannered POS. Luckily unpopular
by Anonymous1 day ago
Quite luckily for me, it is in fact illegal to cause a public disturbance like this in Belgium, and you can be fined up to €350 for doing so.
by Anonymous1 day ago
Yes, we already know you assholes don't think it's rude. That's why you do it. You don't think anybody else matters. Yes, it's rude.
by dellthompson1 day ago
Are you finished?
by Aggravating_Wear77901 day ago
OP is gishgallopping some definitions here. It is not illegal but is inconsiderate. Oddly it is actually banned on several forms of public transit ive been on. So just flat out wrong when applied as a blanket statement.
by Fun-Photograph1 day ago
makes a mental note to have Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyries" ready to blast over OP's phone conversation
by Anonymous1 day ago
So you think it would be unproblematic if there are 30 people on a bus and they all decide to listen to their music out loud because they all agree with you? Can you imagine the cacophony? And you'd be annoyed then because you couldn't hear your music or what's happening on your call.
by Anonymous1 day ago
The reason your behavior is frowned upon is because the world would be completely unlivable if we all acted that way. It would be a constant loudness war between everyone's music and cell phone conversations. There would likely be 100000 fist fights every day as well. Then you have to ask yourself, if only myself and a few other people can act this way without everything turning into chaos, what does that mean? It means you are entitled. You think you get to be special.

Yta. :)

I don't really care if people talk over speaker, cause that's realistically no different then two people having a conversation. But I don't wanna listen to your music and I doubt you wanna listen to mine.
by Maleficent_Radish5581 day ago
yes it is.... dont try to defend it. its wrong.
by Delicious-Note1 day ago
If only there were some setting on your phone to make a phone call that isn't on speaker phone... Oh well, guess you have to keep being obnoxious.
