Dude, you could take the packs and squeeze them by hand with about the same yield unless you had mobility issues. It was a product for people who think peeling bananas is a chore and that chocolate milk comes from brown cows.

That's the misunderstanding, chocolate milk comes from all cows, it's just in a more solid form and needs to be mixed with water or plain milk before drinking.

Nobody said there was no use for being able to pull up the nutritional info on the app. The problem was that the machine forced you to use the app for it to even function, which is completely unnecessary. The machine itself did not need to be Wi-Fi connected, it just needed a button to start the damn thing in one press. And if you want fruit juice without doing the work... then just buy pre-squeezed juice from a grocery store?! It'd be cheaper per ounce (on average) than those stupid packs. Not that juicing it fresh is even that much work. Guess what food processors do? You can buy one of those for less than half the cost of the Juicero!

The issue is the price. I could buy a machine that does that job for 40 dollars, maybe. Not 400.

I think the point is also that no one should be "really into juicing"

I never understood the phenomenon of clearly not the intended audience trashing a project for seeming ridiculous to them, and then attacking the intended audience for being "having bad taste". It's clearly not for you, it's clearly for them, leave it alone!
