+68 If you type 1/2, 2/7 or other similar fractions into excel, it assumes it's a date and converts it to "January 2nd", for instance. If the numerator is 1, however, the date on the cell will correspond to that exact fraction of the year so far (the day 1/2 is exactly half of the days into a year) amirite?

It's halfway through the year so far— there has only been 2 days already, and the day you're in in 1/2 is half the days you had (since 1 is half of 2)
